Harkness is private independent high school with two campuses located in Riviera Nayarit and San Luis Potosí.
Harkness Institute is a bilingual and bicultural preparatory high school that employs a unique peer-to-peer approach to education, rather than the traditional method of teacher lecture ––the “seer on stage”.
Fully accredited by SEP, Harkness Institute rigorously prepares the brightest and most motivated students for university degree programs at the International level. Harkness offers students an education that is without equal in Mexico.

Our average class size is no more than 14 students. More than 80% of our faculty have postgraduate degrees. The student body comprises approximately half boys and half girls.

At Harkness everything is student centered. The student comes first, second and third.
Today Harkness Institute can boast the highest College Board test average in all of Latin America and the highest ENLACE, Mexico´s federally imparted test, scores in the state of Nayarit. Moreover, Harkness students are consistently representing the state in math and physics competitions and the Harkness team consistently wins the robotics competition organized by the Instituto Tecnológico de Monterrey, Tec Challenge.
